Turnberry……The Firth of Clyde Jewel

At Prestwick Airport we meet the Wilcox party from Toledo, Ohio and travel to the Turnberry Resort, base for their golf vacation. Playing some of Ayrshire’s most famous courses, and dining at the finest restaurants, a most memorable week was enjoyed by all. We also managed an informative visit to Culzean Castle. Shore Excursion out of the ordinary!

Mr & Mrs Kiblinger of Arlington, Texas arrive at the port of Greenock on board luxury cruise liner “Crown Princess”. Looking to trace their ancestry, we travel to the village of Dalry in leafy Ayrshire and visit the estate of Blair Castle where we are all made most welcome. After lunch, we travel to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond and the lovely village of Luss before heading for a tour of the City of Glasgow. Returning to Greenock for evening departure, our clients certainly had a most exciting shore excursion.

 The Lallemand family from Tienen, Belguim have a keen interest in “The Bard of Scotland”…. Robert Burns, we enjoying taking them to beautiful Alloway and surrounding area. Afterwards, City of Glasgow is our destination, taking in some of it’s famous landmarks.

Their 2nd shore adventure

 Mr. & Mrs. Pagannuzzi’s cruise liner arrives at the port of South Queensferry on the River Forth and we are again delighted to be looking after their shore excursion requirements. Visiting the City of Edinburgh and famous landmarks …. The Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. Our afternoon delights include a much loved visit to Hopetoun House, traditional residence of  the Marquess of Linlithgow before returning for evening departure to their onward destination.
